Willow’s Story

Willow is the daughter of Mark and Erika Dail from Albemarle, NC. Willow was born in 2020 with a very rare Trisomy condition known as Trisomy 12P. This condition can have various severity and global effects based on how much is duplicated. The moment Willow was born, Mark and Erika were unaware but knew Willow would be special. As the days and months progressed, Willow’s condition became a realization.

During the first 2-3 years of Willow’s life, Mark and Erika realized there were crucial elements missing from Willow’s life that would help provide her the best possible support to live a full and opportunistic life. These elements are in the individual home, public space, and between the demographics. In honor of Willow, we felt it our duty to improve these elements in a way that would support not only Willow but all those alike or with disabilities that are inhibited by experiencing life to its fullest.
